今年4月、100年近く行方不明だったグスタフ・クリムト作の肖像画に、オークションで約50億円の値がついたことが話題になった。しかし、長年にわたり世間から姿を消したままの作品はこれだけではない。この記事では、美術史家で著述家の筆者がピックアップした、19世紀から20世紀半ばにかけての10作品を紹介する。
